Responsible Play

Last updated August 18, 2026

1. Overview

At SpeedRush we are committed to a safe, enjoyable, and responsible social gaming experience. We encourage every player to enjoy our games for entertainment while staying in control of playtime and in-game purchases. To support that, we provide a set of Player Safety Tools you can apply yourself, whenever you need them.

2. What Responsible Play Means

Enjoying our games for entertainment, not as a source of income.

Staying in control of your playtime and your in-game purchases.

Playing in moderation, and balancing play with work, family, and other commitments.

Avoiding play when you feel emotionally distressed or overwhelmed, or while under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

Taking a break whenever playing stops being enjoyable.

3. Recognising When Play May Be Hard to Manage

Consider taking a break or seeking support if you notice any of the following:

Difficulty controlling how much time you spend playing, or how much you spend on purchases.

Play taking priority over work, education, family, or other responsibilities.

Feeling anxious, frustrated, or upset when you cannot play.

Continuing to play despite negative effects on your daily life or relationships.

Using play to avoid personal, financial, or emotional difficulties.

Gaming disorder is generally only diagnosed where such behaviour is severe enough to significantly affect personal, family, social, educational, or occupational life, and has usually been present for at least 12 months. You do not need to wait that long to use the tools below.

4. Player Safety Tools

SpeedRush offers self-service safety tools in Settings under Responsible Gaming. Changes that tighten a limit apply immediately; changes that loosen or remove one are subject to a cooling-off period before they take effect.

Purchase Limits: cap how much you can spend on purchases over a period you choose.

Loss Limits: cap your net losses per day, week, or month; when a limit is reached, play that would exceed it is blocked until the period resets.

Reality Check: a periodic session reminder showing how long you have been playing, with the elapsed time measured by our servers, not your device.

Take a Break: a short self-imposed pause. While it is active you cannot play or purchase, and it cannot be shortened once activated.

Self-Exclusion: a longer block for players who want more distance, described below.

5. Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion blocks access to your account for the period you choose. During Self-Exclusion you cannot sign in, play, purchase, or withdraw, and the exclusion cannot be cancelled or shortened before the period ends. Access is restored automatically when the chosen period expires.

We will make reasonable efforts to stop marketing communications during your exclusion; if you receive promotional material in error, contact support so we can investigate.

Your Cards and Speed Coins remain attached to the account while it is excluded. Coin expiry and season rotation continue to apply as described in the Terms of Service. If you have a pending withdrawal, complete it before requesting Self-Exclusion: pending withdrawals are not processed while an account is excluded.

Please do not attempt to circumvent a Take a Break or Self-Exclusion by creating a new account or disguising your identity. Circumvention may lead to a permanent ban, and we are not responsible for activity on accounts created to bypass a safety tool.

We may also restrict access to the Service on our own initiative, for a definite or indefinite period, where we believe continued access is not in a player's best interests.

6. Protecting Minors

SpeedRush is strictly for adults aged 21 and over. Keep your login credentials private and make sure minors cannot access your account or device.

If you believe a minor is using the Service, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Need Help?

If your gaming feels difficult to control, we encourage you to use the Player Safety Tools above and to reach out to our support team through the in-app chat: we will help you choose and apply the right tool.

If you are concerned about your own playing habits or someone else's, consider speaking with a qualified medical professional or counsellor.
